Students can enrol in a long term placement at the Rural Clinical School starting in their fifth year and concluding with their graduation in sixth year.
Phase 3 consists of ten 8-week courses over Years 5 and 6. Students will be required to complete core courses in the major disciplines as well as spending time in an Emergency Department. Students will also undertake an elective term in a location and discipline of their choice.
In all courses students will be allocated to clinical units where they will be expected to participate in the unit's activities.
