All students in the program must complete a 28 Units of Credit (UoC) in-depth study in a single area of interest relevant to their medical studies during Phase 2. By enrolling in General Education courses concurrent with the ILP, the ILP is taken over 4 teaching periods; i.e. a total of 32 weeks.
The structure of the ILP must incorporate a component of research/investigative work. It may form part of a larger study, and past, present and potential students interested in this ILP will form a 'vertically integrated' ILP group associated with the research area.
Any general research enquires, including Hons, please contact A/Prof Craig McLachlan the Director of Research for the Rural Clinical School.
