John Flynn Placement Program Info Night

The John Flynn Placement Program is a highly respected scholarship that offers medical students the chance to spend time in a rural or remote community to experience the lifestyle and gain medical experience under the professional guidance of a local doctor. Scholars build a relationship with a specific rural community as they return for 8 weeks across 3 to 4 years (eg. 2 weeks each year for 4 years).

The program is an initiative of the Australian Government, funded through the Department of Health and managed by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM). Therefore all travel and accommodation expenses are covered, on top of a $500 weekly allowance for placements.

Applications are competitive and coming up fast, so for more information come along to our information night or visit
