A graduate of UNSW, Dr Forster has had an extensive career in health services. She was formerly the Director of Medical Administration at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. She has wide rural experience in Wagga, Bathurst, Orange and Broken Hill with the Royal Flying Doctor Service. She established the NSW Trauma System and Retrieval Services and the Delineation of Roles of Hospitals.
Dr Forster is Co-convenor of the Ageings and Endings Modules in Phase 1 and Convenor of the Indigenous Pre Medicine Program. Her research interests are in medical education and administration.

Dr Mark Byrne is the Director of Broken Hill Emergency and a lecturer of Indigenous Health at the Sydney campus. He graduated in 2001 and has held positions in many rural locations around New South Wales. He holds lectures in Sydney five times a year on Indigenous Health and also oversees our students who complete their four week placements in Broken Hill. He is also a great mentor to our Indigenous students.

Bonita holds a position as an Aboriginal Liaison Officer for the Greater Western Area Health Service at Broken Hill Hospital. Here she has contact with Aboriginal patients and provides information support for the patients and families, she also assesses the patients discharge and educational needs. She works actively with the Community Health Service in Broken Hill and outlying towns. She has an education background having completed her Masters in Education (Adult) and also experience lecturing at the Goulbourn Police Academy and Department of Community Services.

Justine grew up in Orange in the Central West of NSW. Justine's position involves the coordination of the Rural Student Entry Scheme to Medicine, medicine high school workshops and the placement of students in the Rural Clinical School campuses of Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Albury and Wagga Wagga for Phase 2 and Phase 3. Justine also coordinates a support program for current RSES and Indigenous students and is a facilitator in Phase 1 courses.

Genevieve's position is to oversee the rural clinical placements of Phase 3 students each teaching period and liaise with rural clinical schools to ensure all is running smoothly. She is also involved in the allocations of Phase 3 students, ensuring they have completed their rural experience prior to finishing the six year course. She also coordinates the Indigenous Winter School program and the Pre-Medicine Program for Indigenous Entry into Medicine. She was born and raised in Brewarrina, Outback NSW and has a strong administrative/medical background having worked in Australia, UK and Canada. She is also involved in the Rural Entry interview process.

Jessica provides administrative support within the school. She is also the administrator of the Rural Allied Health and Medical Society (RAHMS), which involves working with the students to promote rural health through a range of activities both on and off campus. She has a degree in Public Health and a degree in Psychology. |
