Accommodation
Private accommodation is available for students. It is a self contained two bedroom unit that has been converted under one of the local members of the districts' house. It is situated on the edge of the mountain in lovely surroundings only a short distance from the hospital. This is charged at $80 per week which will be reimbursed to you on your return to Sydney. (Please see below under "Claiming Travel and Accommodation Expenses") It has cooking facilities for you to prepare your own food. Please contact Marilyn Cady at least two weeks prior to your arrival for further details.
Other Information
Warm clothes are a must. The weather is often quite cold “mountain weather”. In addition, it is recommended that students bring a warm doona or extra blankets for their bed. There is no paging system at Bowral Hospital, so if possible, students should bring a mobile phone.
